Tusayan Half

All Runners must read and follow the 2011 Runners Letter.

The Official Half Marathon Map has been posted. The below text has also been updated.

The 2011 Tusayan Half Marathon will start and end at the National Geographic Visitor Center IMAX.

The course will start in the parking lot at the IMAX heading North up the Arizona Trail/Greenway, turning the left/west on FR 328. The course continues down FR 328 through scenic Kaibab National Forest. At the junction with FR 328A bear right on FR 328A until the turn-around point.  The course returns over the same path back to the National Geographic Visitor Center IMAX.

The start time of the half marathon has been moved to 9am at the IMAX parking lot. The cutoff for this race is 2pm.

At no point does the Tusayan Half enter Grand Canyon National Park nor does it have any scenic overlooks of the Grand Canyon.
